Description

This kit is designed to investigate the relationship among friction, pressure, surface characteristics, material, surface area, and speed.

• Friction Test Bed: bench, power cord, power switch, large winch shaft, small winch shaft, thin thread with hooks, force measurement meter with accuracy of 0.02N
• Loading Platform: high-quality aluminum alloy, 165 × 115 × 3mm, with hook nail
• Friction Plate: aluminum plate with one side velvet, one side acrylic
• Friction Blocks (2): aluminum alloy, weight 1N – has four sides used for experiment: two polished surfaces and two rough surfaces; copper, weight 1N – has two different surfaces: one side copper and the other side cloth
